Zahra Azhar joins TKL for a fall rotation

Biosciences PhD student Zahra Azhar joins TKL for a Fall 2023 rotation. Welcome!

Zahra is a Bioscience PhD student at UCLA. After getting her B.S. in Molecular Biology from UC Santa Cruz, she worked as a research assistant at Caltech and designed synthetic nanobody selection methods. She hopes to continue developing detection assays in the context of pathogens at the Kamariza Lab. She enjoys photography, reading science fiction literature, and going to concerts.
